Popup widget
Subtle social proof without blocking the page.
The Popup widget is a small social-proof notice. It shows one review at a time for a defined number of seconds so new visitors notice real customers without a full-page takeover.
What it does
It spotlights a recent review (product, stars, short text) then can rotate. Delay and scroll triggers are set on the widget settings page.
Where it appears
- Most storefront pages (homepage, collections, products)
- On product pages it prefers reviews for that product
Avoid checkout if the theme is already busy.
How it works
Enable Reviews → Widgets → Popup (`/admin/reviews/widgets/customize/popup`). Set delay or show-after-scroll, pick a corner, and limit how often it repeats. On the storefront the popup can be closed; dismissing it for the session hides it until the next visit.
Unique impact
Homepage and collection traffic never see the product review block. Popup carries proof to those URLs.
