Sidebar widget
A floating reviews panel while shoppers scroll.
The Reviews Sidebar widget is a tab on the left or right edge of the screen. One click opens a floating panel of reviews so shoppers can browse social proof without leaving the page.
What it does
It keeps the full review set one click away while someone scrolls images, specs, and related products.
Where it appears
- Product and collection pages (typical)
- Other templates if you leave the embed on site-wide
Check it does not sit under chat bubbles or sticky add-to-cart bars.
How it works
Enable Reviews → Widgets → Review Sidebar (`/admin/reviews/widgets/customize/sidebar`). Choose left or right and whether the tab shows a review count. On the product page the sidebar bubble opens a panel; close with X or Escape.
Unique impact
Unlike the popup (which is automatic), the sidebar is visitor-controlled. People who want proof can open it; people who do not are not interrupted.
